Nancy Rogers was a little nervous at first, tearing a bit. But she was ready. She had been training and preparing for 12 years.

Veterans Day Program at Westbrook Park

Veterans of all the country's wars and conflicts at Westbrook Park for the Greater Canton Veterans Council "Veteran of the Year" ceremony.
A large crowd gathered to salute the council's Veteran of the Year, Melvin Schlabach, 76, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps and Air Force. Schlabach, a Canton resident, is a past president of the council and remains active in veterans affairs.
