Electric Trucks
15 photos
for sale
They look ordinary.
But the trucks Paul Biedenbach and Dave Boord own are anything but conventional.
Pop open their hoods and you'll immediately notice the differences- all electric.
No oil needed. Both hum like a golf cart cruising down the 18th fairway. And the only reason to stop at the gas station: Snacks.
Biedenbach and Boord simply plug their trucks into any standard outlet. It takes four hours to charge and cost about $1.
Both men built their own, turning a gas-guzzling pickup into an alternative mode of transportation.
Boord said convenience and the lack of maintenance on electric vehicles are "superior." That's what excites him- not gas talk.
