Sgt. Nicholas Caseyy, a 2004 graduate of Timken High School, died in Afghanastan, the result of a suicide bomber.
Casey is the first Stark County-area soldier killed in Afghanistan since Operation Enduring Freedom began in October 2001. He's the 16th soldier from the area to die while serving in the Middle East.
